F-Type Star
An F-type star is a type of main-sequence star that has a surface temperature ranging from about 6,000 to 7,600 degrees Celsius. These stars are typically yellow-white in color and are larger and hotter than G-type stars, like our Sun. F-type stars are known for their strong hydrogen lines in their spectra, which helps astronomers classify them.
F-type stars have a shorter lifespan than cooler stars, lasting around 2 to 3 billion years before evolving into red giants. They can be found in various star systems and contribute to the formation of heavier elements in the universe through nuclear fusion processes.
