F-Type Main Sequence Star
An F-Type Main Sequence Star is a type of star that falls between A-type and G-type stars on the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram. These stars have surface temperatures ranging from about 6,000 to 7,600 degrees Celsius. They are typically brighter and larger than the Sun, with masses between 1.0 and 1.4 times that of our star, classified as a G-Type Main Sequence Star.
F-Type stars are known for their yellow-white color and can have a lifespan of around 2 to 3 billion years. They often host planetary systems, making them of interest in the search for exoplanets and potential habitable zones. Their characteristics help astronomers understand stellar evolution and the formation of galaxies.
