Ezhava
The Ezhava is a social group primarily found in the state of Kerala, India. Traditionally, they were involved in occupations such as agriculture, coir-making, and other manual labor. Over time, the Ezhavas have made significant contributions to the cultural and social landscape of Kerala, particularly in the fields of education and social reform.
Ezhavas are known for their distinct identity and have played a crucial role in the social reform movements of the 19th and 20th centuries. They are also associated with the Sree Narayana Guru, a prominent social reformer who advocated for the rights and upliftment of marginalized communities, including the Ezhavas.
