Eva Braun
Eva Braun was a German photographer and the long-time companion of Adolf Hitler. Born on February 6, 1912, in Munich, she met Hitler in 1929 when she was working as an assistant to his personal photographer. Over the years, she became a significant figure in his life, although she remained largely in the background of political events.
Despite her close relationship with Hitler, Braun was not involved in politics. She spent much of her time in private settings, enjoying leisure activities. In April 1945, as World War II was nearing its end, she married Hitler in the Führerbunker, and they both died by suicide the following day.
