Berghof
The Berghof was Adolf Hitler's retreat located in the Bavarian Alps, near Berchtesgaden, Germany. Built in the 1920s, it served as a private residence and a place for meetings with high-ranking officials. The site offered stunning views of the surrounding mountains and was designed to reflect Hitler's personal tastes.
During World War II, the Berghof became a significant location for Nazi leadership discussions and strategic planning. After the war, the retreat was largely destroyed by Allied bombing, and the remaining structures were demolished in the 1950s, leaving only a few remnants of its former presence.
