European brown bears
The European brown bear is a subspecies of the brown bear found primarily in forests and mountainous regions across Europe. They typically weigh between 100 to 300 kilograms and can stand up to 2.5 meters tall when on their hind legs. Their diet is omnivorous, consisting of fruits, nuts, insects, and small mammals.
These bears are known for their thick fur, which varies in color from light brown to dark brown. European brown bears are generally solitary animals, except for mothers with cubs or during mating season. They hibernate during the winter months, seeking shelter in caves or dens.
