Polar bears are large, white bears that live in the Arctic regions. They are well adapted to their cold environment, with thick fur and a layer of fat that keeps them warm. These magnificent animals primarily hunt for seals, which they catch by waiting near holes in the ice. Polar bears are excellent swimmers and can cover long distances in the water.
