European Territories
European territories refer to regions that are part of or associated with European countries but may not be fully sovereign states. These can include overseas territories, dependencies, and regions with special status. Examples include Gibraltar, a British Overseas Territory, and Faroe Islands, which are part of the Kingdom of Denmark.
Some territories have unique political arrangements, such as Åland Islands, an autonomous region of Finland. Others, like Greenland, also part of Denmark, have significant self-governance. These territories often have distinct cultures and languages, contributing to the rich diversity of Europe.
