Eurojust
Eurojust is an agency of the European Union that enhances cooperation between national judicial authorities in criminal matters. Established in 2002, its main goal is to improve the effectiveness of investigations and prosecutions across member states, particularly in cases involving serious crime, such as terrorism and human trafficking.
The agency facilitates collaboration by providing legal support, coordinating cross-border cases, and promoting the exchange of information. Eurojust works closely with other organizations, including Europol and the European Public Prosecutor's Office, to ensure a unified approach to tackling crime that transcends national borders.
