Euro 1992
The 1992 UEFA European Championship, commonly known as Euro 1992, was the 10th edition of the tournament, held in Sweden from June 10 to June 26. It featured eight teams competing in a final tournament format, with matches played in four cities: Stockholm, Göteborg, Malmö, and Norrköping.
Denmark emerged as the surprise champion, defeating Germany 2-0 in the final held at the Ullevi Stadium in Göteborg. This victory was notable as Denmark had initially not qualified but entered the tournament after Yugoslavia was disqualified due to the ongoing conflict in the region.
