Euoplocephalus
Euoplocephalus is a genus of armored dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 75 million years ago. It was a herbivore, primarily feeding on low-lying plants. This dinosaur is known for its distinctive body covered in bony plates and spikes, which provided protection from predators.
Euoplocephalus could grow up to 20 feet long and had a broad, flat skull with a beak-like mouth. Its most notable feature was the club-like tail, which it could use as a weapon against attackers. Fossils of Euoplocephalus have been found in North America, particularly in Canada.
