Eumenes
Eumenes was a Greek general and statesman who lived during the time of the Macedonian Empire. He served under Alexander the Great and played a significant role in the wars of the Diadochi, which were fought among Alexander's successors after his death in 323 BCE. Eumenes was known for his intelligence and military skills, particularly in organizing and leading troops.
After Alexander's death, Eumenes became a key figure in the struggle for power among the Diadochi. He was appointed as the governor of Cappadocia and later fought against rival generals like Antigonus. Despite his abilities, Eumenes faced challenges and was ultimately defeated, leading to his execution around 316 BCE.
