Eteocles
Eteocles is a character from Greek mythology, known as one of the sons of Oedipus and Jocasta. He is most famous for his role in the story of the Seven Against Thebes, where he fought to defend the city of Thebes against his brother, Polyneices, who sought to reclaim the throne.
Eteocles and Polyneices ultimately killed each other in battle, fulfilling a tragic prophecy. Eteocles is often depicted as a brave and noble warrior, but his actions lead to a cycle of violence and revenge within their family, highlighting themes of fate and conflict in Greek tragedies.
