Estonian Navy
The Estonian Navy is a branch of the Estonian Defence Forces responsible for maritime defense and security. Established in 1991 after Estonia regained independence, it focuses on protecting the country's territorial waters and maritime interests. The navy operates a range of vessels, including patrol boats and mine countermeasure ships.
In addition to its primary defense role, the Estonian Navy participates in international missions and exercises, collaborating with NATO and other allies. It also engages in search and rescue operations and environmental protection efforts in the Baltic Sea, ensuring safe and secure maritime navigation.
