Estonian Defence Forces
The Estonian Defence Forces (EDF) is the military organization responsible for the defense of Estonia. Established in 1918, it consists of the Estonian Army, Estonian Navy, and Estonian Air Force. The EDF focuses on maintaining national security and participating in international missions, often collaborating with NATO allies.
The EDF also includes the Estonian Defence League, a voluntary national defense organization that supports military operations and promotes civil defense. The forces are trained to respond to various threats, including cyber warfare, reflecting Estonia's emphasis on modern defense strategies in the digital age.
