Ernst I, Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg
Ernst I, Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg (1794-1860), was a German nobleman and a member of the House of Hohenlohe. He ruled the principality of Hohenlohe-Langenburg, which was located in present-day Germany. Ernst I was known for his efforts in modernizing the administration and economy of his principality during the 19th century.
He was also a prominent figure in the political landscape of his time, engaging in various diplomatic relations. Ernst I was the father of Princess Alexandra of Hohenlohe-Langenburg, who later became the Queen of Great Britain through her marriage to King Edward VII.
