Erde
Erde, or Earth in English, is the third planet from the Sun in our solar system. It is the only known planet to support life, featuring diverse ecosystems, climates, and landscapes. Earth has a diameter of about 12,742 kilometers and is primarily composed of rock and metal.
The planet is surrounded by an atmosphere that contains oxygen and nitrogen, essential for living organisms. Earth has one natural satellite, the Moon, which influences tides and stabilizes the planet's rotation. The surface is covered by approximately 71% water, mainly in the form of oceans, while the remaining land includes continents and islands.
