Emu Eggs
Emu eggs are large, greenish-blue eggs laid by the emu, a flightless bird native to Australia. Each egg can weigh around 1.4 kilograms and measures about 13 centimeters in length. The shells are thick and have a unique texture, making them quite durable.
These eggs are rich in nutrients and have a flavor similar to chicken eggs, but they are much larger. Due to their size, one emu egg can be equivalent to about 10 chicken eggs. They are often used in gourmet cooking and can be hard to find, making them a delicacy in some regions.
