Emperor Maxentius
Emperor Maxentius was a Roman ruler who reigned from 306 to 312 AD. He was the son of the former Emperor Maximian and became co-emperor in the Western Roman Empire. Maxentius is best known for his conflict with Constantine the Great, which culminated in the famous Battle of the Milvian Bridge in 312 AD.
During his rule, Maxentius focused on strengthening his power in Italy and North Africa. He is often remembered for his ambitious building projects in Rome, including the construction of the Basilica of Maxentius, which showcased his desire to leave a lasting legacy.
