Maximian
Maximian was a Roman emperor who ruled from 286 to 305 AD. He was part of the Tetrarchy, a system established by Diocletian to manage the vast Roman Empire more effectively. Maximian served as the co-emperor, primarily overseeing the western provinces while Diocletian managed the east.
During his reign, Maximian focused on military campaigns to secure the empire's borders and suppress revolts. He is known for his efforts to strengthen the Roman military and for his role in the persecution of Christians. After his abdication in 305 AD, he attempted to regain power but ultimately failed.
