Emperor Kōrei
Emperor Kōrei was the 14th emperor of Japan, according to the traditional order of succession. He is believed to have reigned from around 290 to 215 BCE. His reign is part of the early historical period of Japan, known as the Yayoi period, which was characterized by the introduction of rice cultivation and metalworking.
Little is known about Emperor Kōrei's life and reign, as historical records from this time are scarce. He is often associated with the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki, two ancient texts that document Japan's mythology and early history. Kōrei is considered a legendary figure, and his existence is sometimes debated among historians.
