Emperor Hui
Emperor Hui, also known as Hui of Han, was the second emperor of the Han Dynasty in ancient China, reigning from 195 to 188 BCE. He was the son of Emperor Gao, the founder of the Han Dynasty. His reign was marked by a focus on peace and stability, as he was known for his gentle and mild temperament.
Despite his good intentions, Emperor Hui was often overshadowed by his powerful mother, Empress Dowager Li, who effectively controlled the government during his rule. His reign ended with his death in 188 BCE, leading to a power struggle that significantly impacted the future of the Han Dynasty.
