Emmett Dalton
Emmett Dalton was an American outlaw and a member of the infamous Dalton Gang, which operated in the late 19th century. Born on June 3, 1871, in Coffeyville, Kansas, he became known for his involvement in bank and train robberies. The gang's most notorious event was the failed Coffeyville bank robbery in 1892, which resulted in the deaths of several gang members and lawmen.
After the robbery, Emmett was captured and sentenced to life in prison. He eventually served 14 years before being released. Following his release, he turned his life around, becoming a successful businessman and author, sharing his experiences as an outlaw.
