Emma Stebbins
Emma Stebbins was an American sculptor born on June 1, 1815, in New York City. She is best known for her work in the mid-19th century and was one of the first women to gain recognition in the field of sculpture. Stebbins studied in Europe, where she was influenced by classical art and techniques.
