Elizabeth of Pomerania
Elizabeth of Pomerania was a Polish princess born in 1400. She was the daughter of Bogislaw IX, Duke of Pomerania, and became notable for her marriage to Władysław II Jagiełło, the King of Poland. This union strengthened ties between Pomerania and Poland.
Elizabeth played a significant role in the political landscape of her time. After her husband's death in 1434, she became involved in the governance of Poland, supporting her son, Kazimierz IV Jagiellończyk, who later became king. Her influence helped shape the future of the Polish-Lithuanian state.
