Elizabeth Short
Elizabeth Short was an American woman born on July 29, 1924, in Hyde Park, Boston. She is best known as the victim of a notorious unsolved murder case in 1947, which became widely publicized and is often referred to as the Black Dahlia case. Short was a young aspiring actress who moved to Los Angeles in hopes of making it in the film industry.
