Elizabeth Plantagenet
Elizabeth Plantagenet, also known as Elizabeth of York, was born on February 11, 1466. She was the daughter of King Edward IV and Elizabeth Woodville. Elizabeth played a significant role in the unification of the warring houses of Lancaster and York during the Wars of the Roses.
In 1486, she married Henry VII, the first monarch of the Tudor dynasty. Their marriage symbolized the end of the conflict between the two houses. Elizabeth and Henry had several children, including Henry VIII, who would later become one of England's most famous kings.
