Elisabeth de Valois
Elisabeth de Valois was a French princess born on April 2, 1545, in Fontainebleau. She was the daughter of Henry II of France and Catherine de' Medici. In 1559, she married Philip II of Spain to strengthen the alliance between France and Spain. Elisabeth became the Queen of Spain and was known for her beauty and grace.
