Elector Ferdinand Maria
Elector Ferdinand Maria was a prominent ruler of the Electorate of Bavaria from 1651 until his death in 1679. He was born on April 19, 1636, and became the Elector after the death of his father, Maximilian I. Ferdinand Maria is known for his efforts to restore and strengthen Bavaria after the devastation of the Thirty Years' War.
