Eleanor de Lacy
Eleanor de Lacy was a notable figure in medieval England, born around 1280. She was the daughter of Henry de Lacy, the 3rd Earl of Lincoln, and Margaret de Quincy. Eleanor became the heiress to her father's vast estates after his death in 1311, which included significant lands in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.
In 1307, Eleanor married Thomas de Beauchamp, who later became the 11th Earl of Warwick. Their union strengthened the political alliances of the time. Eleanor's life was marked by her role in managing her estates and her involvement in the social and political affairs of the English nobility during the early 14th century.
