He is best known for his time as a forward with clubs like Chelsea FC and Barcelona, where he won multiple league titles and the UEFA Champions League. Gudjohnsen also represented the Iceland national team, earning over 80 caps.
Throughout his career, Gudjohnsen was recognized for his versatility, playing both as a striker and an attacking midfielder.
