Ehud Barak
Ehud Barak is an Israeli politician and former military leader, born on February 12, 1942. He served as the Prime Minister of Israel from 1999 to 2001 and is known for his role in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. Before entering politics, Barak had a distinguished career in the Israel Defense Forces, where he held various high-ranking positions, including Chief of General Staff.
In addition to his tenure as Prime Minister, Barak has held other significant roles, such as Minister of Defense. He is recognized for his efforts in promoting security and peace in the region, particularly during the Camp David Summit in 2000, where he negotiated with Yasser Arafat.
