Edward Augustus
Edward Augustus was a British royal born on October 2, 1774, as the second son of King George III and Queen Charlotte. He held the title of Duke of Kent and Strathearn and was known for his military service, particularly during the Napoleonic Wars.
In 1818, Edward married Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld, and they had one daughter, Victoria, who later became Queen of the United Kingdom. Edward's contributions to the royal family and his role in the military helped shape the future of the British monarchy. He passed away on January 23, 1820.
