Edward, Duke of Kent
Edward, Duke of Kent (1767-1820), was the fourth son of King George III of the United Kingdom. He served in the British Army and held various military positions, including a role in the Napoleonic Wars. Edward was known for his interest in the arts and architecture, contributing to the design of several buildings.
In 1818, Edward married Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld, and they had one daughter, Victoria, who later became Queen Victoria. His lineage played a significant role in the British monarchy, as Queen Victoria's descendants would go on to rule various European countries.
