Eduard Tubin
Eduard Tubin was an Estonian composer and conductor, born on July 18, 1905, in Tartu, Estonia. He is known for his contributions to classical music, particularly in the 20th century. Tubin's works often reflect his Estonian heritage and incorporate elements of folk music, making him a significant figure in the development of Estonian national music.
Throughout his career, Tubin composed symphonies, concertos, and chamber music, with a total of over 100 works. He spent much of his later life in Sweden, where he continued to compose until his death on November 17, 1982. His music remains influential in both Estonian and international classical music circles.
