Eastern Military District
The Eastern Military District is one of the five military districts of the Russian Armed Forces. Established in 2010, it covers a vast area in the eastern part of Russia, including regions such as Siberia and the Far East. Its primary purpose is to ensure national security and defense readiness in this strategically important region.
The district is responsible for various military operations, training, and logistics. It includes several military bases and units, equipped to respond to potential threats from neighboring countries. The Eastern Military District plays a crucial role in maintaining Russia's military presence in the Pacific Ocean and safeguarding its borders.
