East Chadic
East Chadic is a branch of the Chadic languages, which are part of the larger Afro-Asiatic language family. This group primarily includes languages spoken in northeastern Nigeria and parts of Chad. East Chadic languages are known for their unique phonetic and grammatical features, distinguishing them from other Chadic languages.
The most widely spoken language in the East Chadic group is Bole, which serves as a lingua franca in some regions. Other notable languages include Ngas and Gwandara. These languages play a crucial role in the cultural identity of the communities that speak them.
