East Anglia ONE
East Anglia ONE is an offshore wind farm located in the North Sea, near the coast of Suffolk, England. It is part of a larger initiative to generate renewable energy and reduce carbon emissions. The wind farm consists of 102 turbines, each capable of producing 7 megawatts of electricity, contributing to the UK's goal of increasing its renewable energy capacity.
The project was developed by ScottishPower Renewables and became operational in 2020. It has the capacity to power approximately 630,000 homes, making it one of the largest offshore wind farms in the world. This initiative supports the transition to sustainable energy sources and helps combat climate change.
