Early Triassic
The Early Triassic is a geological period that lasted from about 252 to 247 million years ago, following the mass extinction at the end of the Permian. It marks the beginning of the Mesozoic Era, a time when life began to recover and diversify after the extinction event. The climate was generally warm and dry, leading to the development of new ecosystems.
During the Early Triassic, the first dinosaurs and mammals began to emerge. The period is characterized by the dominance of reptiles and the presence of various marine life, including ammonites and bivalves. Fossil evidence shows that plants also started to flourish, with the rise of gymnosperms and other early flora.
