Early Majority
The "Early Majority" is a group in the Diffusion of Innovations theory, which categorizes how new ideas and technologies spread through society. This group typically adopts innovations after the Early Adopters, representing about 34% of the population. They are more cautious than innovators and early adopters, preferring to see proven benefits before making a change.
Members of the Early Majority are often influenced by their peers and seek reassurance from the experiences of others. They play a crucial role in the adoption process, as their acceptance can lead to wider acceptance of an innovation, helping it reach the Late Majority and Laggards.
