Earl Morrall
Earl Morrall was an American professional football player, born on May 17, 1934, in Muskegon, Michigan. He played as a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for several teams, including the San Francisco 49ers, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Miami Dolphins. Morrall is best known for his role in leading the Dolphins to an undefeated season in 1972, where they won Super Bowl VII.
Morrall had a successful college career at Michigan State University before being drafted in 1956. Over his 21-year career, he became known for his strong passing ability and leadership on the field. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1988 and passed away on April 25, 2023.
