Eamon Gilmore
Eamon Gilmore is an Irish politician who served as the Tánaiste, or Deputy Prime Minister, of Ireland from 2011 to 2014. He is a member of the Labour Party and has held various positions in the Irish government, including Minister for Foreign Affairs. Gilmore was first elected to the Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Irish Parliament, in 1997.
In addition to his political career, Gilmore has been involved in international diplomacy. He served as the European Union's Special Envoy for the Peace Process in Colombia, where he worked to support peace negotiations. His contributions have made him a notable figure in both Irish and international politics.
