EXW
EXW, or Ex Works, is an international trade term that indicates the seller's responsibility is minimal. Under this arrangement, the seller makes the goods available at their premises or another named place, such as a factory or warehouse. The buyer assumes all risks and costs associated with transporting the goods from that point onward.
In an EXW agreement, the buyer is responsible for loading the goods onto a vehicle, clearing customs, and handling all transportation logistics. This term is commonly used in global trade to clarify the responsibilities of both parties involved in the transaction.
