ESA's Venus Express
ESA's Venus Express is a space mission launched by the European Space Agency in 2005 to study the planet Venus. It was designed to investigate the atmosphere, surface, and climate of Venus, providing valuable data about its composition and weather patterns.
The spacecraft entered orbit around Venus in April 2006 and operated until December 2014. During its mission, Venus Express made significant discoveries, including insights into the planet's thick clouds and high temperatures, as well as evidence of volcanic activity. Its findings have enhanced our understanding of Venus and its similarities and differences with Earth.
