Dungeness Power Station
Dungeness Power Station is a nuclear power facility located on the Dungeness headland in Kent, England. It consists of two operational reactors, known as Dungeness B, which generate electricity for the National Grid. The station began operations in the 1960s and has played a significant role in the UK's energy supply.
The site is also home to the decommissioned Dungeness A, which was the first commercial nuclear power station in the UK. Both facilities are situated near the scenic Dungeness Nature Reserve, known for its unique landscape and diverse wildlife, making the area a point of interest for both energy production and conservation.
