The Duke of Enghien was a French nobleman, born in 1772, known for his role during the tumultuous period of the French Revolution and the rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. His full name was Louis Antoine de Bourbon, and he was a member of the royal family, specifically a descendant of the House of Bourbon.
