Duke Eric of Sweden
Duke Eric of Sweden, born on February 20, 1889, was a member of the Swedish royal family. He was the son of Prince Carl, Duke of Västergötland and Princess Ingeborg of Denmark. Eric held the title of Duke of Västergötland and was known for his involvement in various charitable activities throughout his life.
He served in the Swedish military and participated in World War I. Duke Eric was also an avid sportsman, particularly enjoying skiing and sailing. He passed away on September 20, 1918, at the young age of 29, leaving behind a legacy of service and dedication to his country.
