Duckpin Bowling
Duckpin Bowling is a variation of traditional bowling that uses smaller pins and balls. The pins are shorter and squatter than those used in ten-pin bowling, and the balls are smaller, weighing about 3.5 pounds. Players roll the ball down a lane to knock down the pins, aiming to score points by knocking down as many pins as possible in a limited number of rolls.
In Duckpin Bowling, each player typically has three rolls per frame, compared to two in ten-pin bowling. This allows for more opportunities to knock down pins. The game is popular in certain regions of the United States and is often played in a casual, family-friendly environment.
