Duchy Of Pomerania
The Duchy of Pomerania was a historical region located along the southern shore of the Baltic Sea in present-day Poland and Germany. It emerged in the 12th century and was ruled by the Griffin dynasty. The duchy played a significant role in trade and politics in northern Europe during the Middle Ages.
In 1637, the duchy was divided into two parts: Pomerania-Stettin and Pomerania-Wolgast. Over the years, it changed hands through various treaties and wars, eventually becoming part of the Kingdom of Prussia in the 18th century. The region is known for its rich cultural heritage and historical significance.
