Duchess Louise of Baden
Duchess Louise of Baden was born on September 30, 1832, in Karlsruhe, Germany. She was a member of the Grand Ducal House of Baden and the daughter of Grand Duke Leopold of Baden and Princess Sophie of Sweden. Louise became known for her charitable work and dedication to social causes.
In 1856, she married Prince Wilhelm of Prussia, who later became the German Emperor Wilhelm I. As a duchess, Louise played a significant role in the cultural and social life of the Prussian court. She passed away on April 23, 1891, leaving a legacy of compassion and service.
